Don't they look yummy?  Just try popping one in your mouth!  Mike did.  Fortunately he didn't break anything.  I didn't think he'd ever met a brownie that he didn't like…until today.  I think it might be more appropriate to use them as small, projectile missiles…if I happened to need projectile missiles.  Hmmm…the boys might like that idea!

I have discovered, quite by accident, what happens to over-baked mini brownies…they become Brownie Bullets!  This is what happens when you are busy trying to multi-task and find yourself out of hearing range of the oven timer and they bake about twice as long as they need to.  Do you remember the old saying, "Use it up, wear it out.  Make it do or do without."?  I hate wasting things, but no one will be helping themselves to these little morsels.  So what do you do with a batch of Brownie Bullets? 

 
Take a hammer (or the palm of your hand will work), break them up and use them on top of ice cream with a little hot fudge and a bit of whipped cream.  I just enjoyed a mid-morning sundae instead of eating breakfast…delicious!  No one needs to break a tooth and nothing goes to waste.  It's just like crumbled cookies.  Now, back to what I was multi-tasking for!
